Description of Accident: The Oconee County Coroner’s Office has reported that a 59-year-old man lost his life in a collision on Highway 11. The victim was struck by a southbound truck when he attempted to cross the road. The man, whom authorities are attempting to identify, is described as around 6 feet tall, weighing 225 pounds, with brown eyes and short, whitish to gray hair. Authorities are appealing for information on the victim or any potential relatives to assist in the ongoing investigation.
