Description of Accident: A 31-year-old mother of five tragically lost her life in a car accident at the intersection of North Beltline Road and Trenholm Road. She had just picked up her children from school. The remaining passengers, including her mother, four of her children, and her niece, were taken to a nearby hospital. The children, aged 6 to 12, sustained various injuries, with the youngest child currently in a medically induced coma due to a cracked skull, severe head trauma, and other fractures. The collision is being investigated by the Columbia Police Department Traffic Safety Unit.
