Description of Accident: A 58-year-old man died following a motorcycle crash on Tuesday night in the Longs area. A 2021 Nissan SUV was attempting to turn left on East Highway 9 near Charter Drive and Sun Colony Boulevard when a northbound 1993 Harley-Davidson motorcycle took evasive action to avoid a collision. The motorcyclist laid the bike down and became separated from it before being struck by the SUV. He was transported to a local hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
