Description of Accident: A 53-year-old man died after falling from the back of a pickup truck traveling on SC-290. The man was riding in the bed of a 2019 Ford pickup truck and attempting to hold down furniture while the vehicle traveled eastbound. During the trip, the passenger fell from the truck and struck the roadway. He was transported to a local hospital for treatment but later succumbed to his injuries.
