Description of Accident: A collision between two SUVs occurred at around 11 p.m. on Saturday in Florence County, resulting in the death of one person and injuries to four others. The South Carolina Highway Patrol reported that a 2018 Infiniti SUV heading east on Alligator Road collided with a westbound 2004 Chevrolet Tahoe near the intersection with Twin Church Road, close to Exit 157 on Interstate 95. The Infiniti had four passengers, all of whom were taken to a hospital, and one passenger, a 55-year-old from North Carolina later died. The driver of the Chevy was the only person in the vehicle and was also hospitalized. No information is currently available about the conditions of the surviving passengers. The cause of the collision is under investigation by the Highway Patrol.
