Description of Accident: A devastating head-on crash on Highway 101 near the Bellview Road extension claimed the lives of five people early Friday morning. A 2025 Ford SUV traveling north collided head-on with a 2016 Toyota SUV traveling south around 12:45 a.m.
The driver and passenger of the Ford, a 50-year-old woman and a 46-year-old man, died in the crash. Three occupants in the Toyota also suffered fatal injuries, including a 35-year-old woman who served as an officer with the Greenville Police Department, a 64-year-old man, and a 62-year-old woman. Another passenger in the Toyota was injured and transported for medical treatment.
