Description of Accident: The Berkeley County Coroner’s Office has identified a 72-year-old from Cross as the victim of a fatal traffic accident at the intersection of Old Whiteville Road and South Live Oak Drive in Moncks Corner. The victim, driving a 1993 Ford Mustang, was pronounced dead at the scene. The incident is under investigation by the Berkeley County Coroner’s Office and the South Carolina Highway Patrol, with response from Berkeley County EMS, Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office, and Whitesville Fire & Rescue.
