Description of Accident: A Ravenel man, aged 31, lost his life in a fatal crash on Saturday night. Charleston County authorities report the incident happened on Highway 78 near Ingleside Boulevard at approximately 8:20 p.m. The collision occurred after a failed attempt to pull over a 2021 BMW motorcycle for a traffic violation. The motorcyclist ran a stoplight and struck a 2021 Buick Enclave head-on. He succumbed to blunt force injuries at the scene. The driver of the Buick emerged unharmed. The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
