Description of Accident: In Myrtle Beach, a 56-year-old woman tragically died in a moped collision at 12th Avenue South and Kings Highway. The incident occurred when a sedan, traveling southbound on Highway 17 Business, failed to yield while turning left, striking the northbound moped. The moped operator and a rear passenger were ejected during the collision, and the operator succumbed to injuries at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center. The condition of the second occupant remains unknown. The driver of the sedan was arrested, facing charges of not having a valid driver’s license and failing to yield right of way.
