Description of Accident: A Tuesday morning head-on collision claimed the lives of a 37-year-old and an 87-year-old. The collision occurred when a Chevrolet pickup truck driven by the 87-year-old, traveling east on Dorchester Road, crossed the centerline, and struck the BMW sedan driven by a 37-year-old. The head-on collision occurred around 2:30 a.m. near Middleton Boulevard, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
