Description of Accident: A collision on Jan. 27 on Williston Road near Beech Island, S.C. resulted in two deaths and injuries to a third traveler. The 52-year-old driver of a 2020 Kia SUV and her 46-year-old male passenger, both from Windsor, tragically died at the scene. Around 4:10 p.m., a 2012 Toyota Camry traveling east collided with the westbound Kia near Camellia Drive. The Kia crossed the centerline, leading to the tragic collision, according to Master Trooper William Bennett. The Toyota’s sole occupant was transported to an Augusta hospital for treatment. The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating the details of the incident.
