Description of Accident: A 78-year-old Moncks Corner resident awoke to a truck crashing into her home on Edward Drive early Tuesday morning. The driver was charged with DUI by the South Carolina Highway Patrol for hitting the house twice. After the initial impact, the driver attempted to flee but ended up crashing into another part of the house. Fortunately, the homeowner was unharmed, and the SCHP continues its investigation.
