Description of Accident: A crash on Charleston Highway claimed the life of a 40-year-old pedestrian from Cayce. The pedestrian was struck while crossing the 2400 block of Charleston Highway around 8:20 p.m. on March 18. Sadly, he succumbed to his injuries at the scene. The driver of the vehicle, traveling northbound, remained present and was uninjured.
