Description of Accident: An early morning crash at the intersection of Whetstone Road and North Road resulted in the tragic death of a box truck driver. A 2016 Freightliner tractor-trailer was traveling north on Whetstone Road when it collided with a 2023 Mercedes-Benz box truck that was backing up eastbound. Both drivers, who were the sole occupants of their vehicles, were transported to a local hospital for treatment. Sadly, the driver of the box truck later succumbed to injuries sustained in the crash.
