Description of Accident: An 85-year-old man was killed after being struck by a pickup truck while attempting to cross Schurlknight Road in Saint Stephen. The crash happened near Backwood Road shortly after 11 a.m. A 1996 Ford pickup truck was traveling west on Schurlknight Road when it struck the pedestrian as he was crossing the roadway. The pedestrian died at the scene. The driver of the pickup truck was not injured.
