Description of Accident: A 78-year-old woman was killed Friday after being struck by a pickup truck at the intersection of King Street and Broad Street in downtown Charleston. The woman was hit while in a designated crosswalk area and suffered serious injuries. She was transported to a local hospital for treatment, but later succumbed to her injuries.
