Description of Accident: A 78-year-old man was killed in a motorcycle crash Sunday morning on McCormick Road near the intersection of Hammerstone Run in Horry County. A 1998 Honda motorcycle was traveling east while a 2025 Nissan sedan was traveling west. The Nissan collided with the motorcycle while attempting to turn left onto Hammerstone Run. The motorcyclist suffered fatal traumatic injuries in the crash. The two occupants of the Nissan were not injured.
