Description of Accident: A tragic pedestrian collision in Moncks Corner has left one woman dead and another person injured. The incident occurred around 11:44 p.m. on Saturday near 1350 Highway 52. A black Mazda CX5 struck two pedestrians as they were walking to their car. Emergency responders transported both individuals to a local hospital. The 51-year-old woman, whose injuries were critical, was admitted to the ICU and sadly passed away on Sunday. The second pedestrian sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
