Description of Accident: A 50-year-old male cyclist lost his life in a collision in Newberry County. The accident took place at the intersection of Kendall Road and Louis Rich Road at approximately 5:58 p.m. on Tuesday, May 16. Following the crash, the victim was rushed to Prisma Health Richland. Sadly, he was later pronounced dead due to the extent of his injuries. The Newberry County Coroner’s Office, Newberry Police Department, and South Carolina Highway Patrol are currently investigating the collision.
