Women Veterans Day is recognized each year in June, commemorating the signing of the Women’s Armed Services Integration Act in 1948, which allowed women to serve as permanent, regular members of the U.S. Armed Forces. She’s the Veteran brings women veterans together to celebrate that history while providing an opportunity for connection, recognition, and community.
