Description of Accident: A woman was thankfully not injured after her vehicle was rear-ended by an alleged drunk driver and forced into a ditch. She was able to call police, who responded to the crash and began investigating. As officers were finishing their investigation and preparing to take the woman home, she received a call informing her that her apartment complex, Middleton Cove Apartments, was on fire. The blaze killed a 57-year-old woman and displaced approximately 20 residents.
