Description of Accident: A multi-vehicle crash following a police chase left one person dead and another injured on Friday morning on Nexton Parkway near Grand Boulevard. Authorities say a 2022 Chevrolet sedan was fleeing from police when the driver attempted to pass a 2023 Honda SUV and entered oncoming traffic, striking a 2018 Subaru SUV. The driver of the Chevrolet, a 21-year-old from Summerville, suffered fatal injuries in the crash. The driver of the Subaru was transported to a local hospital for treatment. Officials continue to investigate the incident.
