Description of Accident: A 24-year-old woman was tragically killed Sunday afternoon in a multi-vehicle crash near the intersection of N Highway 17A and Peartree Lane. Around 4:30 p.m., the woman was driving a Chevy Malibu northbound when her vehicle sideswiped a Ford pickup truck traveling south. The Malibu then collided head-on with a semi-truck that had been traveling behind the pickup on the two-lane highway.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene. All motorists involved were driving alone at the time of the collision, and both the pickup truck driver and the semi-truck driver were unharmed.
