Description of Accident: A male construction worker died in a workplace accident in North Charleston. The incident happened shortly after noon while workers were operating a skid steer in a culvert near the I-26 eastbound lanes beneath the Weber Boulevard overpass. The equipment began backing up and ran over the worker, causing fatal injuries. OSHA has launched an investigation into the incident to determine the cause and assess workplace safety protocols.
