Description of Accident: The South Carolina Highway Patrol is examining a hit-and-run incident in Colleton County that resulted in the death of a motorcyclist. The collision occurred on Monday around 9 p.m. The motorcyclist, riding a 2001 Harley Davidson, veered across the center line and grazed a 2013 Chrysler sedan, causing them to fall onto the road. Subsequently, an unidentified vehicle struck the motorcyclist and fled the scene. The victim was pronounced dead at the crash site, while the Chrysler driver was transported to a local hospital. The victim’s identity remains undisclosed.
