Man charged for South Carolina drunk driving accident

Charlotte Observer reported a 26-year-old woman was killed as a result of a South Carolina drunk driving accident early Sunday morning.
The woman was a passenger in a car driven by a 37-year-old man who was driving under the influence of alcohol. He lost control of the car and caused the South Carolina drunk driving accident.
The car went off the road and overturned into a creek in the South Carolina drunk driving accident. The man was able to get out of the car and did not suffer many injuries.
The woman needed to removed from the vehicle by emergency personnel and then was taken to Gaston Memorial Hospital where she later died.
Police charged the man with causing the South Carolina drunk driving accident, but did not arrest him and place him in jail.
