Football player suffered South Carolina brain injury

Sports Illustrated reported an 18-year-old boy signed a letter of intent for a football scholarship with Clemson, even though he suffered a South Carolina brain injury last December.

The boy suffered a stroke, which caused the South Carolina brain injury. He had major brain surgery to remove part of his skull to help relieve pressure to his brain.

The South Carolina brain injury victim is currently going through physical therapy and speech therapy as part of his rehab.

Clemson plans on finding a job for the boy, even though he will never be able to play football for Clemson because of his South Carolina brain injury.

Go Upstate reported a 40-year-old mother was sentenced three days in jail for taking evidence at the scene of a South Carolina drunk driving accident.

The woman’s daughter was driving under the influence and caused a South Carolina drunk driving accident in September 2007. The mother took cans of pressurized computer cleaner, which her daughter was huffing before she caused the South Carolina auto accident.

Two passengers suffered serious injuries as a result of the South Carolina drunk driving accident. One passenger suffered a South Carolina brain injury and is wheelchair-bound and the other passenger lost an eye and serious facial injuries.
