County law enforcement officials have arrested a 28-year-old man involved in the Charleston wrongful death of a man at a club.
A man was shot and killed at The Pit Club, according to WCSC. The suspect was seen exiting a Buick holding a firearm with a bandana tied around his face.

A man was sentenced in Georgetown for raping and murdering a 63-year-old woman.
The 36-year-old man was sentenced to life in prison without parole after pleading guilty, according to the GTownTimes.com.

A 48-year-old woman was hit and killed in a car accident in Columbia.
According to an article from WLTX, the accident happened on the 2000 block of Platt Spring Road in Columbia. The 48-year-old pedestrian was walking across Platt Springs Road when a car hit her. She was taken to a local hospital and pronounced dead a short time later, the article said.

According to The Island Packet, the mother of a 17-year-old boy filed a South Carolina wrongful death lawsuit against Beaufort County.

A South Carolina football player from Wingate University and his wife were charged with murder after the man’s ex-girlfriend was found stabbed to death under a bridge.

The arsonist convicted of setting a hotel fire that resulted in six South Carolina burn injury deaths has been sentenced to life without parole. The man was convicted of arson resulting in death.
The man set the fire at the Comfort Inn in Greensville to get the attention of a dancer, with whom he was apparently obsessed. This senseless tragedy that resulted in South Carolina burn injury and wrongful death will hopefully be alleviated in some way with the man being sentenced and going to jail for the rest of his life to pay for his crime.
